A request to check the welfare of a woman led to drug charges on South Virginia Street on Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to check on 42-year-old Kristie Gentry due to statements she made during an argument over medication, and she dropped a bag of suspected meth.
She was arrested and charged with possession of meth second offense.
