
A man who was reportedly found sleeping in a running vehicle on Skyline Drive was charged with DUI fourth or more offenses on Wednesday night.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called for a suspicious vehicle and located 37-year-old Charles Motley on his birthday, who was in the driver’s seat, sleeping in his running vehicle.
When asked about field sobriety test, he reportedly told officers he pleads the fifth and also refused the breath test.
Police say after getting a search warrant, his blood was taken at the hospital. A flask with some type of alcoholic beverage was reportedly located in the center console of his vehicle.
Motley was arrested and charged with possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, DUI fourth or more offenses, failure to produce an insurance card, operating a motor vehicle without an ignition interlock device, driving on a DUI suspended license second offense, and failure to wear seat belts.
