A Cadiz man was indicted Tuesday after a shooting on Linda Lane in Cadiz on October 15th.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say 25-year-old Jordan Shemwell and another man got into a verbal argument that led to Shemwell firing a long rifle three times.
The man was reportedly hit with bullet fragments in the leg but refused medical attention.
Shemwell was arrested on Tuesday on an indictment warrant charging him with third-degree terroristic threatening, discharging a firearm across a public roadway, second-degree assault, and first-degree wanton endangerment.
