A Hopkinsville woman was charged with criminal abuse after a crash on Hunting Creek Road in Hopkinsville Sunday night.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called for a vehicle that had run off the road and hit a fence, which was driven by 26-year-old Charity Berry.
Police could reportedly smell the odor of alcohol, and after field sobriety tests, she was arrested.
Police say two children were found in the vehicle under the age of 12 that were placed in a situation that could have resulted in serious injury.
According to the Christian County jail, Berry is charged with second-degree criminal abuse, DUI, and first-degree criminal mischief.
