A Des Moines, Iowa, man was charged with drug possession in Christian County Tuesday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a vehicle on Interstate 24 for an obstructed plate, and the passenger, 51-year-old Jeffery Carden, gave law enforcement a false name but admitted he had lied when he was confronted.
During the stop, it was found that he had two non-extraditable warrants for his arrest, and a bag of suspected meth was found in the vehicle.
Carden was arrested and charged with possession of meth.
