In a partnership with Hopkinsville Electric System and Impact Ministries, the Tennessee Valley Authority will be distributing hams at no charge to HES customers.
From 1-4 PM Tuesday, December 9 (or as long as supplies last), one can visit Impact Ministries at 513 West Ninth Street in Hopkinsville, and be able to present an HES bill and an ID with a matching address to receive a ham.
In fact, TVA is partnering with eight local power providers in nine Kentucky counties to provide more than 3,800 hams to families this holiday season.
More information on additional distribution events elsewhere in Kentucky will come in the near future.
