Ninth District State Representative Myron Dossett says he wants to continuing working for Christian County residents and Kentucky agriculture if elected to an eleventh term in the Kentucky House of Representatives.
Dossett filed his papers Monday to seek another term. He says since being elected in 2006 following the retirement State Representative Jim Bruce it has been a pleasure to serve the people of the ninth district. Dossett says one priority is continuing to stabilize the Kentucky Retirement Systems.
Dossett says another priority is addressing the needs of the senior population in Kentucky.
As House Agriculture Committee Chairman, Dossett says imminent domain continues to be a major issue that needs some work.
He adds imminent domain was one of the main reasons he first ran for the Kentucky House of Representatives nearly 20 years ago.
Dossett, who is a Republican, represents the ninth district which includes Christian County. In addition to serving as House Agriculture Committee Chairman, Dossett serves on the Natural Resources and Energy, Transportation, and Veterans, Military Affairs, and Public Protection Committees.
