An Oak Grove woman was charged with drug possession after a request to check the welfare of her on Illinois Avenue Saturday afternoon.
Oak Grove Police say they were called to check the welfare of 54-year-old Stacy Charlton, who was walking through yards and appeared to be taking items.
She reportedly appeared to be under the influence of something, and after a search of her belongings, suspected meth and drug paraphernalia were found.
She was arrested and charged with public intoxication and possession of meth.
