A Hopkinsville man was charged with assaulting a healthcare worker at the hospital on Tuesday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 49-year-old Kenneth Shepherd appeared to be under the influence and had the odor of alcohol coming from him when he rushed a healthcare worker at the door and shoved him.
Shepherd was arrested and charged with third-degree assault of a healthcare provider and alcohol intoxication in a public place.
