Hopkinsville Art Guild Hosts Weekend Bazaar Supporting Local Creatives

For two days, the Hopkinsville War Memorial Building turned into a bustling marketplace of creativity. Shoppers wandered through rows of handmade ornaments, pottery, paintings, jewelry, and more — all crafted by local artists.

Henrietta Kemp, president of the Hopkinsville Art Guild, says the turnout was steady and strong.

Art students from Christian County High School were also part of the weekend event. Art teacher Virginia Poland says the school’s program has grown into something special.

click to download audioThis year’s bazaar also included food, offered by local nonprofit Grace and Mercy. Executive Director Joanna Mack says the event is a chance to support both artists and the organization’s outreach work.
