Authorities were called to Cabot Corporation for reports of a fire on Thursday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says they located a fire in the building near a boiler along with the ventilation system and were able to quickly extinguish the flames.
Fire trucks from every station in Hopkinsville were all called to the scene.
Cabot Corporation is located next to Superior Graphite on Calvin Drive.
