The annual Holiday Hopfest, which benefits the historic Alhamba Theatre, returns Saturday night with a ’90s country hitmaker.
Deana Carter is no stranger to the stage, having performed for nearly 30 years following the massive success of her debut album, ‘Did I Shave My Legs For This?’
Carter’s first bit of success started with the help of her first #1 single, “Strawberry Wine.”
“We Danced Anyway” and “How Do I Get There” would follow suit in 1996 and 1997.
As for the songs she will perform in Hopkinsville, Carter shared that a mix of her music will be performed.
Due to a serious conviction, Carter does not perform any Christmas songs until after Thanksgiving.
Tickets for Saturday night’s show are still available here. When checking out, use the code THANKFUL to recieve a free ticket with the purchase of a ticket.
The concert will begin at 7:30 Saturday night, with doors opening at 6:00 PM.
Over the past decade, the Hopfest series has raised more than $140,000, directly supporting the Pennyroyal Arts Council’s mission to bring world-class entertainment to our community and to sustain the Alhambra Theatre as a vibrant cultural hub.
