The 50th annual Racer Roundup Rodeo, which was scheduled to begin Thursday night at the William “Bill” Cherry Expo Center in Murray, has been postponed.
Murray State University Rodeo Coach Matt Papszycki told Your News Edge the sudden cancellation came after an Equine Herpes Virus outbreak at an event in Waco, Texas, last weekend.
He added that tickets will be good for the rescheduled rodeo in early 2026, or refunds are available from the point of purchase.
