Wanda Dillard, 87, of Hopkinsville

Wanda June Blaine Dillard, 87, passed away on Sunday,  November 16, 2025, in Russellville.

Wanda, the daughter of the late Lottie Mae McGregor and Oliver Blaine, JR., was born on September 29, 1938, in Christian County.

Wanda was a member of New Antioch House of Praise, where she served on the Mother’s Board and the choir ministry. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, UK Basketball, and feeding everyone. She was a member of Christian Women Around the Clock and the O.C.C. Group, and the owner of Green Lantern Farms. She was a caregiver and nurturer of many, who had a kind-hearted spirit.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Darwin Dillard, and her siblings, Oliver Blaine, Robert Blaine, Ann Lou Jordan, Dorothy Brewer, Beatrice Brown, and Ethel Bussell.

Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Lee Roy Dillard; children, Kevin Dillard, Gary Dillard, Stacey (Faye) Dillard, Carlin (Yolanda) Dillard, Pastor Perryn (Angela) Dillard; 31 grandchildren; 78 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the Mount Olive Baptist Church.

Burial will follow in the Lafayette Cemetery.
Visitation will begin Friday morning at 11:00 at the church.
Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
