A home on South Kentucky Avenue in Hopkinsville was badly damaged in a fire Tuesday night.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says they were called for a house fire and found smoke coming from the roof along with flames spreading across the attic just after 9 pm.
The home was currently vacant, but power was still connected to the structure. Rogers says the cause of the fire has not been determined.
The home is located at 120 South Kentucky Avenue.
