Man Charged With Damaging Salvation Army Building

A Hopkinsville man was charged with damaging the Salvation Army building on South Clay Street Sunday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Police say 30-year-old Altovise McGregor asked an employee about being able to get back inside the shelter, then threw a rock at the glass door, causing around $3,500 in damage.

McGregor was arrested and charged with first-degree criminal mischief.
