Trigg County Public Schools are maintaining a functioning fleet of buses, with the newest addition approved Thursday night.
The Board of Education heard from Transportation Director Scott Schrock about the current fleet.
Schrock asked the board to spend $170,406 for a new bus.
This includes several upgrades designed to make it easier on bus drivers, students, and travel. The addition will be a Thomas bus.
Schrock says Thomas currently has a 10 month construction time.
