Multiple residents of Hopkinsville and Oak Grove were indicted Friday by the Christian County Grand Jury on charges including wanton endangerment, assault, child abuse, and a sex offender violation.

A true bill was returned on Keandre Jones, of Hopkinsville, on charges of first-degree wanton endangerment and tampering with physical evidence.

Jones is accused of pointing a gun at a woman on North Kentucky Avenue on September 13th. When Hopkinsville Police went to his home following the incident, officers said they saw him shove a gun under a pile of laundry.

William Woodruff, of Hopkinsville, was indicted on charges of second-degree burglary, third-degree assault of a healthcare provider, resisting arrest, public intoxication, and three counts of third-degree terroristic threatening.

The charges are from a September 28th incident where Hopkinsville Police said Woodruff entered a home on Skyline Park Drive, took a soda from the fridge, and officers found him in the sunroom drinking it. Police reported that Woodruff tried to walk away, resisted arrest, kicked a police cruiser door, and threatened both officers and EMS personnel. At the hospital, police said he attempted to kick a nurse.

Separate indictments were issued for Matthew Carter and Stacie Carter of Oak Grove, each charged with second-degree criminal abuse and two counts of second-degree criminal abuse of a child under twelve.

On September 24, Oak Grove police responded to an accidental call from a home on Pembroke Oak Grove Road, where they reported finding a two-year-old child, naked and covered in feces, at the door. Officers said the home was filled with trash, bugs, spoiled food, and lacked a working bathroom, forcing the residents to use containers in the living room. Police said a second child under 12 was found asleep amid the clutter in the living room, and police noted there was no air conditioning since 2022, with the children last showering in August.

Markethia Mosby, of Hopkinsville, was indicted on two counts of distribution of a matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor over 12 years old but less than 18.

The indictment claims that around August 28th, Mosby knowingly distributed material depicting a sexual performance by a minor, which was investigated by Hopkinsville Police.

A true bill was returned on Gbeayadau Duo, of Hopkinsville, on a charge of failure to comply with sex offender registration, 2nd or greater offense.

Duo was arrested after a traffic stop by Hopkinsville Police on November 20, 2024, on Fort Campbell Boulevard for not wearing a seatbelt, and officers reportedly determined he was not compliant with the sex offender registry.
