Christmas Child Shoebox Drop Off Begins

Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Ministry has been changing lives around the world since 1993, one box at a time.

Last year, they delivered 11.9 million shoeboxes with a goal of 12 million for this year. It has been said these shoeboxes may be the only gift some Children will receive during Christmas or other times during the year. Beginning next week, you will have the chance to join in this effort to bring Christ and happiness to children around the world. This can be done by an individual, group, or church.

Tammy Crawford serves as the public relations director for this region and tells about the program and where you can drop off a shoebox.

Each shoebox costs $10.00 to ship, and that payment is appreciated at the time of dropoff. The times for the daily dropoff are included in this story on our website.
