A wreck on US 68 in Fairview led to charges for a Pembroke man on Tuesday morning.
Kentucky State Police say at 8:54 am, a car driven by 48-year-old Charles Barton was on Britmart Road, crossing US 68, when it collided with an eastbound car driven by 26-year-old James Dossett of Hopkinsville that was on US 68.
Barton fled the area without stopping, but was later located and charged with first-degree criminal mischief and leaving the scene of an accident. Dossett was taken by private vehicle to the hospital to be checked out.
Police were assisted by the Fairview Fire Department and Todd County EMS.
