A crash involving a horse on South Road in Trigg County sent one person to the hospital Sunday night.
Trigg County Sheriff’s Deputy Chris Beavers says at 6:42 pm, a car collided with a horse at the intersection of Oakland Church Road.
The driver of the car was taken by Trigg County EMS to Trigg County Hospital to meet with a helicopter to transfer the man to a Nashville hospital for a head injury.
Beavers says this was the second crash of the night, adding he had a cow hit on Will Jackson Road with no injuries to the driver in that crash.
