A Clarksville man was charged after assaulting a police officer during a parking issue on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Hopkinsville on Friday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 57-year-old Joel McCaskill tossed a can of drink at a vehicle over a parking problem, then punched an officer who responded to the call in the face, and bit his arm.
McCaskill was arrested and charged with menacing, criminal littering, second-degree disorderly conduct, harassment, and third-degree assault of a police officer.
