Todd County Central High School honored local veterans Friday with its annual Veterans Day program. The morning included breakfast for veterans and their guests, followed by a school-wide ceremony featuring students, staff, and a special guest speaker.

Assistant Principal Dr. Alexzandra Carrington says the event brings together students of all ages and the wider community to show their appreciation.
Todd County Chapter FFA members greeted visitors at the door and served as ushers.

FFA Reporter Rylann Griggs says the day was all about recognizing service and sacrifice.
FFA Treasurer Will Tabor says that remembrance shouldn’t stop after the ceremony.
And FFA Chaplain Wade Morse says it’s important to remember what veterans have given up for others.
Dr. Carrington says the highlight of the event was hearing from this year’s guest speaker, Colonel Eddie D. Simpson, Garrison Training Command Brigade Commander.

Todd County Central High School says it’s proud to continue its Veterans Day tradition—bringing together students, families, and community members to honor those who have served our nation.
