A Hopkinsville man was charged with assaulting his brother with a hammer on East 7th Street on Wednesday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 50-year-old Jason Render got into an argument with his brother and assaulted him with a hammer, leading to head and hand injuries.
The brother was taken to the hospital due to his injuries, and Render was arrested and charged with first-degree assault.
