
A Hopkinsville man was charged with DUI third offense after a crash on Kenwood Drive in Hopkinsville on Tuesday night.
Hopkinsville Police say at 8:10 pm, a car driven by 59-year-old Spencer Wilson ran off the road, and he got out and then fled, but was located by law enforcement.
He was under the influence of alcohol, police say, adding he was found to have the key to the vehicle in his possession.
Police say witnesses stated he exited the vehicle, dropped his pants, and left feculent matter on the road before leaving.
Wilson was arrested and charged with driving on a DUI-suspended license third offense, DUI third offense, no registration plates, no insurance, and leaving the scene of an accident.
He was also found to have a warrant for failure to appear.
