Christian County Military Affairs Committee Hosts Resource Fairs for Unpaid Federal Workers

The Christian County Military Affairs Committee is stepping up to help federal employees impacted by the ongoing government shutdown. The group has been holding a series of resource fairs to connect workers with support and information.

The shutdown has left more than a million federal employees nationwide without pay — and many in Christian and Montgomery Counties are feeling the strain.

To help, Lane says the Christian County Military Affairs Committee has organized a series of resource fairs. Two were already held earlier this week at Valor Hall in Oak Grove.
