Teresa Ann Foster Scott, 72, of Greenville, KY passed away at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Beaver Dam Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Visitation will be 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Crofton. 145 E. Princeton Street, Crofton, KY. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Crofton is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Greenville, KY she was born October 5, 1953 the daughter of the late Courtland Foster and Dorothy Ellen Crick Foster. She was a loving wife, mother and mimmy. She devoted her life to her family. She was a member of Elkton Road Church of Christ. She was a Christian women who valued and prioritized her faith. She was a gifted writer who had an immense love for dogs; Bassett Hounds were her favorite.
Teresa worked as the principal at Muhlenberg County Christian Academy for several years. Ensuring children received a high-quality education and were led in the right direction was something she had a significant passion for. She enjoyed travel, South Dakota was her happy place. Teresa was loved, well respected, and admired by those who knew her. She will be remembered for her sincerity, selflessness, witty humor, compassion for others, dedication to Christ, and the love she had for her family.
Survivors include her husband: Vernon Hayes Scott; and her son: Jacob (Jennifer) Scott of Central City, KY; and her daughters: Stephanie Scott and Darla (Doug) Polley all of Greenville, KY; and her brother: Thomas Michael (Sandy) Foster of Greenville, KY; and her grandchildren: Isaac Raymer, Isaiah Hope and Phoenix Hope.
