Andrew Lee Jensen, 74, of Hopkinsville

Andrew Lee Jensen, 74, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving wife and daughters, after a short but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

A private celebration of Andrew’s life will be held at a later date. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville is assisting with the arrangements.

A native of Fort Campbell, Kentucky, he was born April 1, 1951, the son of the late Emanual “Fred” Jensen and Jacqueline Anne Sirca Jensen.

Andrew was retired as a psychologist, having worked at the Pennyroyal Center before establishing a shared private practice, The Psychology Group, and later serving as a practitioner at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital on post. Throughout his distinguished career, he was admired for his compassion, professionalism, and dedication to helping others.

Beyond his work, Andrew was a man of great creativity and curiosity. He was an accomplished woodworker and photographer who loved spending time boating on Dale Hollow Lake, and he was always ready for a good debate. His sharp mind, quick wit, and sense of humor made every conversation memorable.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Peggy Jane Jensen; his daughters, Jennifer (Jeff) Davis and Kimberly (Joel) Justice, all of Clarksville, TN; his brother, Jeffery (Liz) Jensen of Clarksville, TN; and his sisters, Jo Ann Tiller of Dallas, TX, Barbara Jensen of Chattanooga, TN, and Lynn (Mike) McDonough of Dallas, TX. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Brooke (Kyle) Lockhart, Jacob Justice, Jordan Justice, and Nathan (Chasey) Davis; and his great-grandchildren, Evan Lopez, Zoey Stanfill, Kynzie Jones, Laila Davis, and Mylea Davis.

Andrew will be remembered for his intelligence, humor, and the deep love he shared with his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
