Students from Gateway Academy, Christian County High School, and Hopkinsville High School are inviting kids of all ages to come trunk or treat Thursday evening.
This will be the second annual Trunk or Treat organized by student groups at the Stadium of Champions. The candy will start plopping into bags and buckets at 4:30 in the Visitors’ side parking lot. In total, 40 student groups will be set up, giving out treats until 6:30.
School officials say there were over 1,000 attendees last year. The idea grew from one group at CCHS to the next last year until there were over 25 student groups from both CCHS and HHS participating.
Everyone is excited to have more groups on board this year, and student organizers encourage you to grab your Halloween costume and prepare to have a spooktacular evening.
