A Hopkinsville man was charged with fleeing from law enforcement on foot during a traffic stop on Cates Street Thursday night.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called for a vehicle that had been stolen by 55-year-old Henry Burton and when they found the vehicle during a traffic stop, Burton stopped the car and fled on foot.
He was quickly apprehended and reportedly found to have a crack pipe with a white residue inside on him.
He is charged with theft by unlawful taking, possession of cocaine second offense, operating on a suspended or revoked license, and second-degree fleeing or evading police.
