Bettye Stallons Broadbent, age 72, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025, surrounded by her family at her home of natural causes.
Graveside Services will be at 12:00 PM Noon on Saturday, November 1, 2025, with Bro. Jesse Brown officiating at Green Hill Memorial Gardens with burial to follow. Casky Baptist Church invites, and the family welcomes you to come and share memories following the graveside services, for a Celebration of Life Fellowship Meal at the church. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Ms. Broadbent was born in Cadiz, KY, on June 17, 1953, the daughter of the late Carney and Murlene Whitney Stallons. Bettye was a retired Elementary School Teacher for Marshall Elementary School in Ft. Campbell. She was a member of the Hopkinsville Church of the Nazarene but currently attended Casky Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Marshall Stallons, and her sisters, Lilly Mae Stallons and Edna Gastelian.
Survivors include her daughters, Amanda (Nicholas) Broadbent Hubof of Spokane Valley, WA, and Melissa S. Broadbent of Hopkinsville, KY; her four grandchildren, Emerson Lewis, Mya Hubof, Ellery Lewis, Kamden Hubof; and her sister-in-law, Helen Stallons of Nashville, TN.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Gideons International.
