Trigg County’s Lacey Shrock is among 32 education leaders from across the state selected for the 2026 Kentucky Women in Education Leadership (KWEL) cohort, announced by the Kentucky Association of School Administrators (KASA).

The ninth KWEL class joins a growing network of more than 250 women leaders statewide who are dedicated to advancing education through mentorship, professional development, and collaboration.

KASA Chief Executive Officer Dr. Rhonda Caldwell said the new members exemplify leadership and courage, and the program helps them realize their full potential as changemakers in Kentucky schools.

Program Director Dr. Kathy Fields added that the 2026 class demonstrates the strength and vision of women who are making a lasting difference in education.

Members will be formally inducted during the KWEL Leadership Forum, January 28–29, 2026, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Louisville.

KASA, founded in 1969, represents more than 3,300 education leaders across Kentucky and provides professional learning, advocacy, and support to improve student outcomes statewide.
