A Hopkinsville woman was arrested on a warrant for receiving stolen property on Lewis Street in Hopkinsville on Wednesday night.
Hopkinsville Police say they arrested 26-year-old Kiara Cushenberry on a Christian County warrant for receiving stolen property – firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The arrest, Police say, is in connection with a stolen gun found in her room during a search warrant on October 14th at the Lewis Street home that led to four juveniles being arrested.
Police say the search of the home and the arrest of the juveniles on October 14th was connected to a case where an apartment on Bella Court was hit twice in a shooting.
The case also reportedly led to a stolen vehicle being recovered. Police say the Lewis Street home was also hit several times in a shooting on September 9th, but no arrest has been made.
