
A traffic stop for erratic driving led to drug charges for a Clarksville man on Friday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called for a reckless driver and located the vehicle driven by 55-year-old Thomas Taylor on Fort Campbell Boulevard, after observing the vehicle for a while and seeing his erratic driving, a traffic stop was made.
He reportedly told law enforcement he didn’t get a good night’s rest, and after field sobriety test, he was arrested.
Police say a search of his vehicle led to suspected meth and an amphetamine pill. Taylor was arrested and charged with DUI, possession of meth, and prescription-controlled substance not in a proper container
