HHS Alumni Gather to Say Farewell

Hopkinsville High School Alumni from across the decades came together Friday night for a once-in-a-lifetime performance.

To open the Homecoming football game against Henderson County, former choir and band members took the field.

click to download audioThe choir of 130 sang the National Anthem and the HHS Alma Mater. Current Choir Director, Tracy Bean says the idea came from a community member.

Alumni were asked to sign up a couple of months ago, and she did not expect the large response.

click to download audioBean even brought in long-time choir teacher Barbara Felts to direct. Choir members from as far back as the Class of ’68 joined in to send the school off with a proper goodbye.
