
A traffic stop for speeding on Country Club Lane led to drug charges for a Greenville woman on Wednesday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say at 4:12 pm, they stopped a vehicle driven by 53-year-old Nikaletta Shadowen for speeding and found the passenger, 45-year-old Steven Mead, had two active warrants.
After a search of the vehicle, Police say suspected meth was found in Shadowen’s possession.
Shadowen was arrested and charged with possession of meth second offense, and speeding. Mead was arrested on warrants for non-payment of court costs and being a fugitive from another state.
