Work on the new Christian County High School is hitting milestones and project managers are pleased.
Thursday night, Alliance Corporation Vice President, Tim Geegan told the Board of Education the project is still on schedule to be completed by the end of this school year.

click to download audioThe Band Tower is $84,000. Landscaping for the building will be $231,000, and turf for the new fields will be $2.9 million.
Wilson also ask the board to purchase $101,000 in new playground equipment for the early learning center. Board Member Erin Westerfield asked about the existing playground.
click to download audioThe board also voted 4-1 to approve hiring an additional School Resource Officer, which Director of School Safety and Security, Clayton Sumner says is just an expediting of the current plan.
