Finley Named Trigg County Chamber Citizen Of The Year

Community volunteer and public servant, two well-known for the work in education, a community partner that provides arts education, a well-respected banking institution, and a popular destination in Canton were among winners during the Trigg County Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner.

After hearing remarks from Harold Knight of Knight and Hale Game Calls, some prestigious awards were presented during the Chamber Dinner at Lake Barkley State Park.

Hancock’s Neighborhood Market owner Mallory Lawrence presented the Citizen of the Year award to Trigg County Clerk Carmen Finley.

Finley said she was humbled by the honor.

Lawrence, who also owns Persnickity Pig, presented the Educator of the Year award to Andrea and Scotty Hampton.

Eunice Stone presented the Best Foot Forward Award to the Janice Mason Art Museum.

 

Tim Griffey honored Boyd’s Tavern with the Horizon Award.

And Adrien Fuller presented the Business of the Year Award to FNB Bank.

Eighth District State Representative Walker Thomas was presented the 2025 Kentucky Chamber MVP Award by Senior Vice President Kate Shake.

The chamber honored outgoing board members Eunice Stone and Keith Washer, and welcomed new board members Shayla Gude and Tammy Melton.
