
A wreck on Butler Road at Windy Hill Drive led to criminal charges for a Clarksville man Thursday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a truck driven by 21-year-old Bradley Robinson was westbound when it collided with an SUV driven by Deziree Diaze that was on Windy Hill Drive stopped at the intersection.
After the crash, Robinson’s truck caught fire. Deputies say after talking with Robinson, he admitted to trying to kill himself by crashing his truck into a sign at the intersection.
Robinson was taken by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for injuries, then charged with first-degree assault, reckless driving, and no insurance.
