Industrial Recycling Program Options Presented

As Hopkinsville City Council passed its final vote to dismantle the residential recycling program, they continue to consider options for industrial and commercial customers. Tuesday night, the second reading of the ordinance to repeal the city code creating the recycling program passed on an 11-1 vote, with Travis Martin dissenting.

Hopkinsville Solid Waste Enterprise Director, Brian Silvey presented Council with two options for the commercial and residential program.
