Two Juveniles Injured In East 21st Street Shooting

A shooting on East 21st Street in Hopkinsville sent two people to the hospital Monday night.

Hopkinsville Police say they were called for a shooting and found one juvenile who was shot in the leg and a second who showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm.

Law enforcement blocked off the area as they worked to collect evidence.

Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says both juveniles are around 16 years old.

Police say blood was found inside one of the apartments that one of the juveniles ran into, and several shell casings were found in the road and on the sidewalk.
