Summer Salute Kicks Off in Downtown Hopkinsville

Downtown Hopkinsville is buzzing with food, music, and family fun as the annual Summer Salute Festival kicks off and continues through Saturday.

Hopkinsville’s Summer Salute is a free, family-friendly festival that fills downtown with live music, food, carnival rides, and activities for all ages. The two-day event has become one of the city’s biggest celebrations, drawing visitors from across the region.

Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Superintendent Toby Hudson says the community has been waiting for this moment.
