Christian County Public Schools has named Rebecca Martin as the district’s new Director of Technology.
Martin previously served as technology support manager for the district. She began her 18-year career with CCPS in 2008 as a computer maintenance technician before becoming a computer technology specialist.
A 2004 graduate of Christian County High School, Martin earned her Associate of Applied Science degree from Hopkinsville Community College in 2006 and a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications Systems Management from Murray State University in 2008.
District leaders say her knowledge, experience, and understanding of both the schools and the technology department will help continue moving the district forward. Martin said she looks forward to expanding her service to CCPS by supporting students and staff and strengthening technology initiatives across the district.
She lives in Crofton with her fiancé, Calvin Moss, and her son, Caleb.
