A home on Boxwood Drive in Hopkinsville was damaged in a kitchen fire Thursday night.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says the fire started in the area of the cabinets in the kitchen but was quickly extinguished by firefighters.
Although the fire was contained to the kitchen Rogers says the rest of the home has smoke damage.
No one was injured in the fire.
