Andrea Morris, 78, of Hopkinsville, KY passed away on Monday September 8, 2025 at 10:59 p.m. at her residence with her family by her side.
A funeral service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday September 12, 2025 at Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville with Brother David Tucker officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:30 p.m. until the funeral hour. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Canton, OH, she was born September 15, 1946 the daughter of the late William Cyrus Ross Sr. and Georgene Ross. She worked as a waitress and teacher’s assistant. She attended Second Baptist Church and loved to read and work in her garden.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Charles “Sonny” Morris; her twin daughters: Robin and Roberta; her great-grandson: Kohen Davis; and her five brothers and five sisters.
She is survived by her children: Richard (Melinda) Ross and Rita (Danny) Dye both of Hopkinsville, KY; her step-children: Angela Kiessling of Hopkinsville, KY, Wendy (Mark) Buckley and Austin (Heather) Morris both of Herndon, KY, Betsy (Phillip) Deason of Hopkinsville, KY., her 23 grandchildren; her 32 great-grandchildren; and her one great-great-grandchildren.
