A shooting on Poston Avenue in Hopkinsville injured a man and led to assault charges for another Friday night.
Hopkinsville Police say an altercation between a man who was walking and a car with several people inside led to shots being fired and the man walking being hit in the leg.
The car was reportedly located by law enforcement on Oak Street with only the driver inside.
Police say after talking with witnesses, 20-year-old Jaden Miller was arrested and charged with first-degree assault in connection with the shooting.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers says the man who was walking was taken to Jennie Stuart Health by Hopkinsville EMS.
