A wreck on Jefferson Davis Road damaged the Fairview Fire Department’s building Friday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a truck was on Jefferson Davis Road when it swerved to miss a vehicle that stopped for a yard sale, then ran off the road hitting the Fairview Fire Department building.
No one was injured in the crash, but the building suffered extensive damage.
Fairview Fire Department Chief Marc Hampton says the building may take a while to repair. Hampton added that they are working to get the fire truck out of the bay, but they will have the ability to respond to calls.
