The Trigg County Progressive Farm Safety Day has been renamed in honor of the longtime hosts of the annual event.
The event, now named in memory of Bill and Cyndi Mize, brings fourth-grade students to the Mize Farm to learn about the importance of agriculture.
During the opening remarks on Wednesday morning, Trigg County Judge-Executive Stan Humphries presented a special plaque to Sam and Charity Gallogly.
