A wreck on US 68 near Gracey sent four people to the hospital, three with severe injuries Friday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say two cars, one driven by 37-year-old Ashley Mongham, of Hopkinsville, initially collided in Trigg County, then Mongham’s car accelerated going eastbound in the westbound lanes, hitting a van driven by 32-year-old Zaneta Orzol, of Cadiz, and an SUV driven by a 17-year-old of Clarksville head-on before coming to a stop.
Mongham had to be cut from the vehicle before being flown to a Nashville hospital.
Deputies say Orzol and her 8-year-old passenger were also flown to Nashville hospitals.
Vernon’s passenger, a 17-year-old was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Health for minor injuries.
