Man Leaves Phone And Wallet Behind During Hopkinsville Burglary

A Hopkinsville man was charged Thursday morning with burglary after he reportedly left his phone and wallet behind after breaking into a building at the fairgrounds.

Hopkinsville Police say they were investigating a burglary on July 26th at the fairgrounds and found the wallet and phone of John Smith along with a bucket filled with ice, food, and drinks.

Smith was arrested Thursday and charged with third-degree burglary.
